Third Thursday Wine Walk– Every third Thursday from 5:00pm-8:00pm in Downtown Punta Gorda.

Saturday Farmers Market– Every Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Taylor Street in front of the Courthouse.

Parks That Teach– Free walking tour every 1st Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:30am-11:00am. Departs from Fishermen’s Village/Linear Park (for more information, call the Master Gardeners at 941-764-4340)

Muscle Car City Monthly Car Show– Every third Saturday of every month from 9:00am-1:00pm on 10175 Tamiami Trail. Free to car show owners, free to public. No admission fee to enter the Diner, Memorabilia Store, Speed Shop or Indoor “For Sale” Car Corral.

Fourth Fest– July 4th from 11:00AM-9:30PM at Laishley Park on 100 Nesbit. There will be live music, water slides, food, and fireworks.

4th of July Celebration– July 4th from 12:00PM-9:00PM at Fishermen’s Village on 1200 W. Retta Esplanade. Live music, fireworks and Freedom Swim beginning at 2:00PM.

26th Annual 4th of July at Harpoon Harry’s– July 4th from 11:00AM-10:00PM at Harpoon Harry’s on 1200 W. Retta Esplanade. Festive drink specials, live music, family friendly activities and fireworks from Laishley Park at 9:00PM.

2nd Annual International Culture Fest– July 12th from 5:00PM-9:00PM & July 13th from 10:00AM-4:00PM at Fishermen’s Village on 1200 W. Retta Esplanade. There will be live music, vendors, food, etc.

Wheels and Wings Tenth Anniversary Bicycle Ride– July 13th & July 14th beginning at 7:00AM at Acme Bicycle Shop on 615 Cross Street and finishes at Beef O’Brady’s on 1105 Taylor Road. It’s a ride, an event, a party! Registration fees apply.

Cocktails for a Cause Pub Crawl– July 27th from 5:00PM-10:00PM starting at City Marketplace on 115 Tamiami Trail and then onto various locations.

Muscle Car City Monthly Auto Flea Market– July 28th from 7:00am-1:00pm at Muscle Car City on 10175 Tamiami Trail.

Furthermore, right on the other side of the bridge is Port Charlotte. This is another town in Charlotte County that offers a variety of restaurants and shopping. You can enjoy nearby beaches, parks, golfing, etc. Finally, Port Charlotte has the Tampa Bay Rays spring training baseball stadium. Whether you enjoy sports or just want to relax, we have it all!
